At the very heart of Co2Compliance Ltd is our principle of ‘commercial environmentalism’. We believe firmly that it makes business and economic sense to consider our environmental impact when making commercial business choices. In most cases it will save time, money as well as Co2e emissions which our clients indirectly benefit from.

We are committed to managing, measuring, and reducing our environmental footprint, whilst assisting our client partners in reducing their own by encouraging the use of the latest technology and environmental best practice throughout the compliance and consultation process.

We will achieve this in the following ways:

 

• Using the latest technology play a leading role in developing creative and innovative solutions to the environmental issues facing the compliance sector.
  
  

• Measuring our Carbon Footprint and make available for public disclosure by 2012.
  
  

• Establish environmental realistic objectives and targets and measure our performance against them.
  
  

• Minimise our energy consumption by encouraging less business travel where use of online technology can achieve the same result and where possible use of low carbon transport options i.e. the Train to travel to business meetings.
  
  

• Encourage awareness and commitment to improving the environmental performance of our staff, suppliers and client partners. This will focus on use of the latest technology, business travel and efficient use of natural resources.
  
  

• Provide our staff and client partners with the information they require to make environmentally aware choices.
  
  

• Conduct our business in the full knowledge and compliance of all environmental legislation.
  
  

• Communicating our Environmental Policy to employees, suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders and promoting environmentally sensitive behavior; and highlighting the efficiencies in time and costs which can be achieved by introducing best practice.
  
  

• Finally to achieve the objective of being a carbon efficient organisation we will look to offset, via an AAA rated carbon credit scheme.
